Lim Chu Kang is still a rural area, and it is located close to the Western Water Catchment. It is served by two rods which are Lim Chu Kang Road and Old Choa Chu road. It has lots of military training area. It includes huge trees, greenery, mountains, and also it is liked with Rochor River. That is why it has military training areas. After the independence of Singapore, the city is not developed so you cannot find the frequent travel option in this place. Also, you will find some difficulties to enter here due to the army safety precautions. Due to military safety purpose, some entrance is closed or hides.
Temple in Lim Chu Kang
Here is the Chinese temple was built in 1900 to worship of holy mother. The temple is known as Ama Keng Chinese temple. It is the temple of the goddess of peace and happiness. After breaking words, Keng means temple and Ama mean grandmother. The temple is renovated by the timber and zinc roof at 1943. The fact is that the temple is redeveloped at 1965 and the cost was S$16,000 for tiling the roof.

About 100 people live in the Lim Chu Kang where they do not have any hotel, restaurant and shopping mall. They have to go for further places for achieving the daily needs as well as domestic products. Lim Chu Kang is the place which shares there boundary with the sea, but due to lack of development and lack of population, the sea area is useless.
